Working from her studio in Melbourne, Australia, emerging jeweller Lauren Trojkovic's pieces are brought to life using traditional metalsmithing techniques and the lost wax casting process. Lauren brings together sculptural forms and subtle embellishment, adding in flashes of the unexpected. The graphic shapes and elaborate nature of ethnic jewellery greatly influence her work.
As well as jewellery and object design, Lauren’s formal training in graphic design and photography has also influenced her design process and thinking. Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Design completed at Swinburne University in 2010; certificate IV in photo-imaging at Brougham School of Photography in 2011; Certificate III in Gemsetting and an Advanced Diploma of Jewellery and Object Design at Melbourne Polytechnic (formerly NMIT) in 2016.
